The micro duct is manufactured using a dual extrusion process where the thin inner layer is extruded at the same time as the micro duct itself. This allows for a superior mechanical adhesion of the inner layer thus improving the operating lifetime of the micro duct significantly over other duct manufacture processes. The inner layer is specifically engineered by CBI Electric: Aberdare ATC Telecom Cables to offer a very low friction interface with anti-static build up additives to ensure maximum installation distances.
